As much as I felt he was kind of making things up/exaggerating on the RX3 to convince people it was a 'bad' bike, not to mention kind of hypocritical, I do feel he gave this bike a fairly honest review. Hypocritical when he made it a huge bone of contention at how slow the RX3 is, but the RE Himalayan which he tested much more recently was slower in its acceleration, but he merely glossed over that like it conveniently didn't matter. I do agree that this bike will give one a better value than a comparable 'name brand' like the CRF250L. Sure the Honda will give you resale value, but to get it to be a good off-roader, on top of its $5k+ retail price, you will have to fork over many more $'s. When you add up 'extras', one doesn't necessarily get much return on those at resale. The GPX is ready to go for its price. Also, if people start accepting that Pitster is a good brand, resale will probably start to get a bit better when compared to most standard Chinese bikes.
