Does it only come on when you have your high beam on or when you hit the "flash to pass" button?

I thought my headlight didnt work a first because I didnt realize it had an on/off switch on the right side of the handlebars.I thought all bikes today had headlights always on feature. The small running light is always on though.

Omg Thank you! I didn't even see the switch on the right side! All is well. FEEEEW.

Side note i installed the vagabond Fender elimination, went well till i over tightened one of the signals and broke one (cheap stock). I had some small LED ones and they look good and worked. I was worried about the flash relay. I also painted all the plastic black.

Mine had oil in it but I didnt even attempt to start my bike with that shipping oil in it.

The petcock is tucked way up there, but I'm glad it had independent petcock instead of it being integrated into the carb, one less thing to do when changing the carb.

I started it twice without the oil but lucky i didn't drive, and remembered i had to change the oil. well there was like 2 table spoons in it. wtf

ya i was happy to see the petcock on it stock.... the petcock is right behind the airbox tube... pain to get too, once i get a new carb and delete the airbox it will be fine. But i don't know if i want to delete the airbox it holds the farings well.
