These Guys Are Right In My Backyard, And I Never Knew It

I found these guys when I was looking through Craigslist for parts for the Scrambler. I had no idea there was a dealer this close to me. Has anyone heard of these guys?

They have a bike I want... and at a price I would be extremely happy with paying seeing how it's about $500 less compared to the competition.

And this is the first time I have heard of the company

I did some research locally, and it looks like these guys have been around for a while, and have a pretty decent reputation. Might be worth looking into, Azhule.

I have a place close to me that was selling hawks at the time I got mine. however, they would not budge below their 1800 asking price, so I went to the internet instead.

Are they still in business selling the Hawks? If they were a fly-by-night company, they would have turned over a while ago I would think. There's money to be made in the long run if you can service and support the bikes, but that's a very rare thing to see nowadays. If you want turn-key service and support, one of the more prominent international brands is the way to go.

looks like not. they are carrying apollos and some street bikes. when I bought my hawk mailorder, they were firm on an 1800 price tag. no haggling at all.

It is nice to have a place in your backyard. I have one here in Sac who's been here for over a decade. Very well-established. Good guy, nice store....but doesn't come close to mail order price anymore. Back when he had his little rent-a-garage, he was within enough to buy. I've bought both Hensim's, the X-moto and Q from him. Now that we live in the sticks, should I mail order for far cheaper or drive 1.5 hours to pay more. No brainer.

Agreed. Depending on the item, I might pay 20% more to support a local business, but not likely more than that.
