TBR7 Digital Instrument Cluster / Headlight

It is time for a few upgrades.

I am trying to locate a source for a 2020 TBR7 Digital Instrument Cluster. I searched the forum and the links I found for new digital clusters were expired. I know there was a wiring change also and I was hoping to find a plug for plug replacement.

I am also looking for a source for brighter headlight bulbs since I am posting anyway.

Can anyone post a link for either part please?

Any recommendations from anyone on what replacement speedometer to get to replace the factory? The factory speedo is very inaccurate up at higher speeds after comparing to gps data.

I am also seeking advice from others on the easiest installation option. Something hopefully a person can simply plug into the original factory plugs and go.

Any easy installation options?

One of the reviews on Ebay states this was plug and play on the TBR7. Look at the wheel sensor to see if is the same as the TBR7. Worst case would be mabe having to repin the connectors. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Digital-Spe...AAAOSw~flcR93C

I posted a question to the seller inquiring. Hopefully they reply. It says in the description, "It is calibrated to the Hawks 21" front tire. "

A review states, "Good quality, nice plug & play for Tao TBR7".

Not sure which one is accurate though, since the Hawk has a 21" tire up front and the TBR7 a 19".

An amazon review of what looks to the same unit was not so great.

On my Hawk speedometer i could switch from 21" to 19" wheels.

I very much appreciate you sharing information and replying. I wish we could register the Hawk here in New Jersey, but still a no go.

What gauges do you have? Was it easy to install?

Same as the one on Ebay but was sold by one of the members on here. He no longer sells them because when someone on Ebay started selling them it pretty much put him out of the picture. I wasn't worth it for him to import them any more. It's a shame because he stood behind his product and took care of any issues.

I ended up using a generic digital speedometer.

I had to make a custom wiring harness but it works great.

This is the feedback from the ebay seller:

"It can be switched by the user to accommodate a 19’ front tire.

I’m not familiar with the wiring on a 2021 Tao Tao. I’m guessing the wires to the gear indicators won’t match and you may need to do some diagnosing.

If you decide to buy it and it doesn’t work out, you can return it for a refund."
