Zongshen xtm 250 - spare part

Hi everybody,

I recently had to put a hold on riding because of a broken gear/pinion.

It's part of the kick start mechanism. I can't find the correct name for this. Maybe you guys can help.

I'm guessing from HB's post that you have a CB250 OHC Honda clone. If you show us a pic of the motor, we can confirm.

If you open HB's link in Google Chrome, it can translate the page for you. I've placed several orders through www.taobao.com (using www.taobaotrends.com as an English speaking agent), and it has always been painless. Note that the prices quoted are in CNY, so you'll be pleasantly surprised when you convert the amount.

I found a few sites with the part needed but they have 17 teeth, I need 19

That is a CG clone, which is a pushrod engine. I don't doubt that the link HB provided is correct for your bike, so the best bet is to simply place a Taobao order, using Taobao Trends, as described above.

Type "CG200" into the search field on www.taobao.com, and you'll amuse yourself for hours. I know that yours is labeled as a 250, but the 200 is more common and the starter and transmission parts are the same.
