Torque Value for Valve/Rocker Cover - Hawk
Does anyone know what the torque value is when re-installing the cover after a valve adjustment on the Hawk 250? I tried searching the forum with no luck. Thanks

Tight, but not too tight that strips the screws. Get them nice and snug and then go another turn or so. Just check them from time to time, but that should be all screws on this bike.

a little past snug. The hawks specs say 15 ft lbs, but the screws are soft and will shear at that.

I'm sure using "inch pounds" will work just fine in this area with these small bolts All of my cars and even my Kawasaki KLR 650 only uses "inch pounds" to keep their Valve Cover snug and in place
