Exhauht for hawk and magician

Hey guys 250 magician now i truned into cafe racer (pics coming soon)
Doing port and headgasket soon so i need do something about my cat. Ive seen previous post about cutting a window, but seems to me, but would it not be easier to cut it out and weld back a strsight shot. Do you need the chamber tht housed the cat, like is there a reason other than housing the or does it have another purpose?last question sorry, was looking at Amazon exhaust and tht jfg and stoneman look nice and both and take little modification to fit
But im torn betwen doing the window cat job our cut and get univeral muffler. Also registration isnt an issue im in texas where u dont even half to ahve a helmet lol!

You can cut it and just put a straight pipe. I had cut mine in two, gutted and welded back together only because I couldn't find the right size pipe to fit.
