Hawk 250 Fuel Tank

Howdy everyone. Im on here looking alot but dont really need to post because I think just about every question Ive had has been ask lol but.. Im working on a project.

Whats the difference in the Hawk 250 carb and DLX fuel tank? Is there a fuel pump inside or something? Working on putting a Hawk tank on a Condor. I took the one off my Hawk and its almost perfect fit, without the plastic of course. The petcock will need to be relocated but I cant mess with the one I have because its still belongs on my bike. I have a few pics but thy dont really show much but youlll get the idea. the front rubber stoppers fit, steering clears, the rear bolts will need a brace but its doable I think.

Thanks.

Edit: Its close enough that Im confident ordering one. It is a carb bike. The ones I have found for sale I don't see coming with any of the extras, cap petcock sending unit ect. so Im thinking the shells are all the same.

The Condor tank bolts down with 2 bolts to hold it down in the back. A piece of flat bar bolted down to those and a bolt through the middle for the Hawk tank will work perfect.

The Condor tank also bolts up front with the 2 bolts like most of the smaller tanks I’ve seen. The rubber slip right on and the Hawk tank slips right in.

The tabs where the side plastics push in will have to be trimmed, but can’t do that yet because I still need the tank I’m mocking it up with.
