Digital Instrument Cluster Causing Parasitic Draw

Has anyone else had an issue with the digital instrument cluster causing a parasitic draw. I checked the amp draw with my multimeter and got 2ma with the positive lead from the cluster connected but 0ma draw with it disconnected. Can I just go put it on a switched power source or is there an internal problem with the cluster?

the digital clock requires battery power, it takes about 2 weeks to fully drain my battery. I'm thinking about disconnecting it since it keeps shitty time anyways

I feel cheated, my digital dash doesn't have a clock.

Mine has never shown any noticable drain on the battery.

As far as I can tell my cluster doesn't have a digital clock but if that's all that lead is for I'll try just leaving it disconnected and see what happens. Thanks for the quick responses!
