My absence & pictures
Sorry I have been away so much lately guys.
Life is blasting away full bore over here. Have hardly had time to ride the past month, and NO time to work on my 150cc custom scooter project. I have had some big events happen though. 1st, we bought a 23' Layton Skyline camper & started camping more. 2nd I bought an old F150 with the 300 ci. inline 6 for cheap that I THOUGHT would pull it. ( thinking I have posted that in here somewhere before. ) Well, the F150 just did not like pulling that 4500# camper at aLLLLL. NEED MORE POWER!!! 3rd, I bought my 3rd "flip house". A BIG one. Big as in a LOT of work to do to it, not necessarily a large sq. footage house. It is 5 bed, 2-1/2 bath 2 story. Big enough though!!! Well, back to the truck, I bought a NEW 2015 RAM 1500 4X4, with the 395 HP Hemi, and 3.93:1 axle ratio's. Yep, that will pull it!!!! . . Here is a YouTube link to "day 3" showing some of the house. . . And an outside pic of the flip house, and a pic of my RAM immediately after the ink dried. .

Sweet truck!....but I'm a Mopar guy at heart so I'm an easy sell. That Hemi is an awesome motor. Good luck on the flip house. We bought a non-flip house 3.5 years ago, work on it every weekend and it's still not even close to done.

The front of that house is begging for a porch and railing.

I like Laytons; I think they're well built.
Is your Ram coil sprung or leaf sprung? Do you plan to convert back to a garage?

. 'Ya know, I am not even sure what springs are under it!!! LOL I just went for a test drive, and said " That 'L do pig. That 'L do. " hahaha! . As for the garage, no, it will stay as a bedroom / bath / laundry. Too expensive to reverse back. I am already Wayyyyyy over budget as it is. I HOPE I don't end up eating this one. Sheet rock does not digest very well. :-/ . New vid ( update )

Weld.....They be coils underneath that thar Ram........ You can also get an air ride version and adjust it for either heavy work (stiffer and lifts the whole rig) or heavy comfort (softer, lower to the ground for better MPG) and then in between.

QUOTE] Finally looked today. It is coil spring all around. Not sure if that is good or bad.

Yep, the Mrs. and I have been nosing at the new Ram. If you go Laramie or Longhorn, the air ride is standard I believe, hence the price tag. You can order it on a regular trim package, if you want. I'd think about it if I had a truck that was either towing a massive fifth wheel or I was using it for serious off road, then a daily driver. Other than that, I'm a fan of coils.
