Sold the KLR!

Hello everyone!

Sold my KLR, feels weird to not have a bike anymore... Just got my Lifan powered 70 left, maybe this will finally give me the incentive to get it finished?

Lol, hope everyone is having an excellent spring, weather here is great though dry!

Cheers,
Stew

You need to get a CSC Cylone RX3, Stew.

Did you sell the Wing? I don't recall that.

Whay did you sell the KLR?

Be careful, others will find their way to you. I have had 4 of them over the years, and fully expect another someday.

A RX-3 also an excellent idea.

Yup, sold them all. Just wasn't using them enough to justify insuring and plating and maintaining them all. Feels weird though, first time I've never had a bike in the garage! Well, other than my little CT that is. Lol

Was it a weather related issue?

Weather can be tough where you live but in the summer the Canadian Rockies are among the world's most beautiful mountains.

Partially the short season, strangely enough I just seemed to not be enjoying riding like I used to. Plus my ankles and shoulders were bothering me on longer rides. Still love bikes like crazy though!

Might scoop a cheap scooter for the relaxed ergos and so I still have something to buzz around on when the urge strikes me .

I agree on the rockies, they're gorgeous! Garrett and I took a few days holidays last summer and cruised the Icefield Parkway with the little Chevy Tracker, it was a total hoot! We did the Miette (sp?) hot springs, saw lots of wildlife and stayed in a gorgeous ski resort hotel (Kananaskis) on the way back .

Kananaskis is one of my favourite places on the planet.

How is your son? He must be growing like a weed.

Hi Weld!
Yup, he's 15 and a half now and almost as tall as me!
Kananaskis is gorgeous, something about waking up in the mountains and seeing deer in the parking lot...
Hope everything is going well for you all in BC, lots of cool bike projects in progress?

Wow, I think I made a horrible mistake... Not having a bike in the garage is like having the DT's! At least when I had one parked in there I didn't feel so bad. Now I just feel weird... Lol

Wow, 15 and a half! He'll be driving on his own soon.

I'm quite embarrassed to say that I haven't been working on bikes nearly enough. I've been working way too much (which is a good problem to have), and it has been affecting my ability to keep up with regular house maintenance items, let alone bikes. That'll hopefully change in August.

Yes, weld, if your job is interfering with keeping us entertained here at China riders, you must quit immediately!
