Black Seat + blazing Sun = Ouch

Seriously why are motorcycle seats black. Today is a goof-off day for me and my 4 year old son so we have been spending the day jumping in the pool and jumping on the Hawk. I know it is probably not approved by the American Pediatric Association but I put him in from of me and I let him run the throttle, sort of. My hand is on his so I don't let him get out of control.

Of course my Hawk is black, too. I think they need to make a white one

Really? If they do, are you going to buy one? A white one with a white seat for hot sunny weather, and a black one with a black seat for the other 9 months of the year. Could start a trend.

Sheep skin works wonders or even the Coleman ATV seat cover.

My daughter learned to ride by the same method, sitting in front of me and working the controls on my old CX500.

My son loves to ride. I picked up 2 razors at a tag sale for $5 each (MX500 and MX650). I just bought $140 in new batteries. Once he shows a little more self control with the throttle I will let him ride the Razors.

It's why I sat my helmet on my Victory seat when we'd go into a bar or restaurant. Must have that one, shade covered spot where "the boyz" rest.....but yah, towel works too.
