Likely. That's one thing I expect will not last. An upgrade to an AGM is a good plan.

Be sure to check that there isn't a current draw when the key is off.

The Zongshen RX3 comes equipped with an AGM battery.

I believe the Siemens digital dashboard draws a very small parasitic drain on the battery. However, this is the only parasitic drain, and it has not caused any problems with my Zongshen RX3, which now has about 900 miles on the odometer. The stock AGM battery has a capacity of 11 amp-hours.

The battery is likely the problem. Did you prepare the battery as shown in the following video?

That's one detail that I missed in all the excitement about the RX3.

I'm betting that one could disconnect the dash, in order to isolate a further potential (pad pun, I know) voltage drain. I've seen bad regulators draw while the ignition is off, on Hondoids.

That's a good video. I can't recall if I left my cap off slightly, to allow off-gassing during the initial charge.

I was surprised to see that model of Yuasa is made in the USA.

Spud i prepared the battery just as shown ,,,,You'd have to let your bike sit more than a day ,,to see if you have this issue.....lol,,,,,,But that aint happening........!!!! Nor should it.

I suggest you measure the resting voltage after the bike sits overnight. A new, healthy, AGM battery should have a resting voltage of 12.7-12.9 volts. If the resting voltage is lower, check the voltage at the battery terminals the next time the bike is running. If the voltage is around 13.7 volts, the regulator/rectifier is good, and it is charging the battery.

If the resting voltage is low, and the voltage with the engine running is correct, then you must have a bad battery, and I would contact CSC for a replacement. My RX3 has sat for several days without running, and the small parasitic draw from the Siemens digital dashboard should not lower the resting voltage of your 11 Ah, AGM battery after a mere 24 hours.
