Kinda sloooowwwwww around here.................

Well, it's official. Vermont, actually ALL of New England, is covered in snow. Best start to Winter we've had in 5 years. I gotta tell you though, I miss riding the Roketa. I didn't quite get 2000 miles on before I about half killed myself, but I love this little bike. I did manage to get a few more rides in after I healed up, and before I had to put it away 'till Spring. As much as I love snowmobiling, I miss the freedom that only a bike can give. For all you lucky guys and gals that are still riding, rack up a few miles for me please .

I've been off the bike for a month! If I wasn't bike fixing I'd be going nuts. I have no car, the wife needs it to get to work in the city core. Talk about missing my bike freedom... My bike will be road ready before spring, that's when I'll really start loosing it... 8O

We got a good amount of snow here 6"-10" but it is melting away now and we'll lose most of it but a fresh batch is predicted for us.
I would love to get my bike out on a frozen lake but I just dont trust the lakes around here anymore with the warm winters we have.

I do have my quad up (minus fenders) though and it is fun to play on in the snow.

I seen a new 250cc engine that looks like it would pretty much drop right in and they sell a full exhaust pipe also.
We are thinking of putting one in my wifes bike and doing some other mods to it this winter.

Too cold and too much snow to ride here in Central Oregon. Weather permitting I'm heading out to Death Valley tomorrow with the teardrop trailer and the Lifan.

This is my first year sitting through a winter, thinking about riding. I Don't Like It! I carve stone, and I can't concentrate on it. I can't concentrate on anything. Not much work left to do on my bike. If I had cash I'd buy a couple old bikes just to fix over winter and sell in spring. This isn't funny, it's frustrating. You folks down south have it easy. Cheap bikes, cheap insurance, and shorter winters. ENVY
