Help Please--TT250 Owner

Can someone please measure the bolt distance (center to center) on the front brake caliper of a TT250?

I just read an article that said they use the same caliper on the back as the front. That would put the bolts too far apart to be used on the Bashan Enforcer if the back caliper on the TT250 is the same as the back caliper on the Bashan.

Thanks in advance.

I'll measure it when I get home if no one answers. I can tell you that those same calipers are used by most CB's.

Question: Does your Enforcer have a two piston caliper or a one piston caliper? If I remember correctly, it has a one piston caliper which is one of the differences between it and the Hawk. If that's the case, you'll need to replace it with a one piston caliper. I believe the disks are different sizes. Does it look like this?

It is a one piston. The disk is right at 10.5 inches in diameter. What are the dimensions on the hawk and TT250?

The bolts are 2.39" apart.

Apologies Skiforce75. By the time I made it home last night, it was time to crash. I'll get out to the garage this evening if no one else chimes in.

It's no big deal. I wouldn't order the parts until the end of the month anyway. Thanks in advance.

Are you looking to upgrade to the 2 piston caliper like found on the Hawk and TT250? That front rotor on your bike is a dead on match for the Hawk, and I can almost promise you that the caliper from a Hawk will bolt right up. I do believe the TT250 uses the same caliper as the Hawk too. I will try to measure my Hawks pattern sometime later today when I get home.

I am looking to upgrade. We talked about this here:

http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=20739

I am just making sure I will not have to return the parts if I order it from CSC since they use the USD forks and a different rotor. I pretty much figured that the hawk one would be a perfect match. However, if you get the chance to measure it, that would be great too!

I want to order replacement axle bolts from CSC and the front brake components together to save on shipping. I already ordered the swing arm bolt to replace the cracked one. I don't trust any of them now.
