Kymco Spade 150 Issues

Purchased the 2018 Kymco Spade 150 half a year ago with 1k miles. Today when riding back home from work, the bike kept turning off on me when shifting down to first gear for some reason. Happened 4 times. Didn't happen any more after 15 minutes of riding. Do you guys think it's because I didn't let the bike warm up enough? Or the throttle idle is to low? It currently idles at 1500 rpm. This is the second time it's happened this week. Any advice will be welcomed. Never had this issue before.

Did u checked valve clearance? This RT30 engine family is IN/EX: 0.06±0.02mm according to official shop manual
Shop manual said idles @ 1700±100rpm
These FI bike needs reliable power. Check the battery w/ load tester 1st.
BAD luck https://eweiliu.wordpress.com/2017/0...F%80%EF%BC%81/

Hello so I checked the battery and it is good. I have no idea why, but these last 2 days when I come to a complete stop and have it in first gear I have to keep revving the engine to prevent the engine from cutting off.

I was having this same exact issue on my 2018 Boom. Wasn’t an air or spark plug issue, ended up being a fuel issue with the carb. Not sure if your bike is fuel injected or has a carb. Every time I would down shift to 1st the bike would just die, ended up being a fuel issue.
