Bullet 25 carb

Pretty standard looking carb that comes on qmb139 50cc engines.

Scooter was made in April 2021.

Jets were a 28 idle and 83 main. I removed the plug over the idle mixture adjustment screw and it was out a full turn.

Cool thing is the screws for the bowl weren't the tamper proof kind, just regular JIS Phillips.

What's weird is the idle screw has an aluminum cap over the head and I can't adjust the idle. It idles OK at between 1500 and 2000 otherwise.

I haven't done anything drastic yet, but I can't really see how this was installed let alone how to remove it.

Linked is a picture of it.

Ok. I used some pliers and pulled it straight off. Didn't take too much effort.

Picture below shows all the parts. I have a washer to put under the head of the screw for the top of the spring, but the spring might be too short. If that's the case I'll just use the aluminium part as it originally was.https://ibb.co/C2rPxg3
