Desert ATV riding with Ron.

Cold foggy day but an ATV ride with a good friend is a great thing. Some freezing fog but otherwise a nice day for a ride in the desert.

Ron with his 700cc V-Twin 4WD Suzuki beast.

I borrowed his wife's 400cc Yamaha Single 4WD. Nice machine.

It's all about layers and dressing right for the elements.

Ron is a great friend.

Thanks for the great photos. That's such an alien looking terrain to me. Looks like a fun place to ride.

Alien to me too. I'm a Californian! It is a nice place to live and to ride. Many opportunities for business and education and recreation and for the most part, excellent weather. Except compared to California...

A diesel F-250 and a huge flatbed trailer. Very comfortable, until we pull up to the diesel pump!

Tomorrow we're heading into the deep freeze in East Idaho.

I much prefer riding in the summertime.

It has become very cold here too Brother. I took the pickup to work today and street riding looks out for at least the next week. I plan to take the YZF back to the desert playground this weekend though.

It looks like we are going to get it toward the end of the week. Most of Oklahoma and Texas too.
