Lifan KPM200 valve adjustment

I'd like to check/adjust the valves on my KPM200 but I'm not having any luck finding any info about the proper adjustment. I'm not sure if the NBF2 is enough different from older models or other china bikes that it's changed from the .004", or if I should just roll with that and hope for the best. If anyone has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated!

Did you get a manual with the bike? It might be in there. Also, you might find something here or give a shout out to Falkon45.

David, you are right! I remember looking through the manual when I got the bike but didn't remember seeing valve settings. I found the manual burried under a bunch of stuff and right there on page 16 were the exact settings I needed. For anyone searching them who may have lost the manual, they are .08mm for intake and .12mm for exhaust. Thanks!

lol. I'm glad you checked. Have you done the valve adjustment yet? How far was it off? I'm pretty sure mine are way off, after a mostly hard miles 3500 miles.

Not yet. I need to get my vavle adjustment tools back from a friend. We both have Royal Enfield Himalayans as well and it looks like those tools should fit. I don't have a ton of miles on mine yet but since I know china bikes are notorious for tight valves I want to get them checked sooner rather than later. I'm about to start a scrambler conversion on the KPM and figured it would be good to have the mechanics dialed first. Will let you know what I find when I open her up!

Just did the valves. Intake was almost spot on, but exhaust was way snug. It was at .07mm instead of .12mm. Well worth the time.
