My $150 Dual Sport

Picked it up for $150, its an '06 Roketa with less 200 miles on it, put a few hours into it and now it runs great, wish I could get rid of the ugly decals but it seem like they put some kind of coating over them, otherwse the bike is great.

My son likes it

Awesome buy. Good job. What did you have to do to repair it. I don't mind the stickers, I think it looks very good.

I'm not sure what the previous owner did but when I brought it home I found out the electric start was cranking the engine Backwards, so I had to reverse the one way starter gear on the flywheel and rotate the magnets on the starter 180 degrees to get it craking the right direction, along with a carb cleaning. After that she started up and runs perfect.

OK I remember the story now. I'd not seen or heard of that one before!

Great project!

You got a super deal; the bike looks great, Buzz!

P.S. The little guy looks great on the bike, also!

The decals will come off, They just have clearcoat over them....Bit of a hassle. Smoking deal on that bike man.

If you see any more of those deals pass them along. I need another ride.

Nice playset too.
