BMS Enduro 250: Counterbalanced or not
Hello all,
I searched, but did not find this answer: Is the SOHC CG250 in the BMS Enduro 250 counterbalanced or not? I think I read before it was not and I did not notice a bulge in the engine case. I am still debating if that is really a deciding factor too. I am leaning towards the Brozz 250, but I would like the taller seat/tires. This model has 19/21 tires. It's interesting that Bashan has this on the same certification as the other Bashan bikes (this list is from the listing of bikes all approved: BROZZ 250, BSR 250, CR250, DK250, MOTOMAX 250, PRS 250, Razer 250, STORM 250--the BMS CRP is the CR250) but manages to use a different engine. Then again, so does the BSR 250, aka DB-250-41H (the one that looks nearly identical to the Hawk) which seems to use the same engine as the BMS bike. Interestingly, and I haven't corresponded with the N. American Bashan rep in months, but the last time I emailed he said that BMS was going to get their bike CARB certified as well for California (only the BMS bike even though its MCO and VIN# make it a Bashan bike). But, later on he said they had changed their mind; I am guessing dealing with their own state changed their mind!

So what Engine really comes on the BMS CRP Enduro it does not look like a OHC Engine Please help Rick0313

The page's tech specs say SOHC 4 stroke 4 valve. None of these cheap bikes have 4 valve heads, so that tells you all you need to know right there.
Also says 67mm/65mm bore and stroke and 229cc They took the information directly from the BMS website for this bike too. That's the sad part. The BMS web page also says 15.42hp. Pictures of the engine in the bike, the horsepower rating, the bore/stroke, and stated displacement scream it's a CG250, which is OHV not OHC.
