2021 TBR7 Tire Pressue

If I converted the information from the owners manually correctly, the manual recommends 38 psi front and 40 psi rear. I will be riding almost exclusively on the street when I get this chick magnet assembled.
is 38F & 40R in the ball park of what others are running?

I run both the Brozz and Titan at 20psi, that way can transition from offroad/gravel to pavement and still be ok

20psi is a good size disparity from 38 - 40psi recommended, assuming my #'s are correct. My interest here is simply to be sure I'm in the safe range for the street. I'm not familiar with motorcycle tires.

If I was traveling all highway, I might get as high as 30 psi. I usually run 20 to 24.

Those OEM Yuanxing dual sports tires are decent tires, and the same ones that came on my Storm. 20psi is a good idea for off road use as long as you don't get to rambunctious hitting rocks! But on the highway, you will see excessive wear developing on either side of the center of the tire since the center of the tire will be soft.

This happened to the front tire on my Bandit when previous owner ran it low for at least 500 miles. Destroyed front tire at 4000 miles!

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like the manual stated pressure is higher than what most are running. I'm going to back 'em down to 30psi and see how that feels and looks on the road as a starting point. I understand the lower pressure, 20psi, for off road would make sense.

I weigh 180lbs. Running 38 f+r on the road, to get that extra 1mph. I was running 20 off road but dinged a wheel on a rock, 25 seems to keep the rim safe.

The factory tbr7 tires are pretty thin and not much sidewall stiffness so you'll need a little more pressure.

I think I was running 28lbs on mine. With my current tires I run 15 off road and 20-28 on road depending on if it's back roads or long higher speed blacktop.
