Help! Bike stolen ;'-(

I have a 2018 Venom x22 (Baodiao 125-11) that was stolen. When I got it back, the thief had spray-painted EVERYTHING! Bad enough I have to strip everything down and sand it. The paint shop told me I'd have a real BEAR of a time getting the paint off the plastic. I need a complete set of plastics, including the nose-cone and windscreen. Venom Motorsports overcharges for EVERYTHING! Do you guys know where else to get a complete set of plastics?

Probably AliExpress or TaoBao. Just type x22 plastics on either site.

Thanx, I will try those. I believe only Venom Motorsports uses the x22 model tag. I'm pretty sure it's a Baodiao BD125-11 based on the owner's manual.
Really nice people at Venom Motorsports, I think they're all Canadian. But I got all my mechanical parts elsewhere, before the bike got stolen. Because I noticed Venom's prices were a little high. I did notice that the Venom faerings were unique. But I don't care if I get slightly different ones, as long as the price is right.

Call Pete at Kronik Racing www.kronikracing.com He deals directly with Baodiao as both his shop and Baodiao are in the greater L.A. metropolitan area. He deals with them all the time and is pretty much the biggest seller of the Baodiao grom-like-vehicles in the US.

I've removed spray paint from plastic with brake fluid. I wear nitrile gloves, soak a rag in brake fluid and drape it over the plastic. I leave it there for a few minutes and then the paint usually wipes right off. It's time consuming.

Sorry to hear about your bike. I'm glad you got it back, though. I have the same exact bike and have been enjoying it so far.

Let me know if you find a reputable vendor for the plastics!

Did you consider that if Venom is in Canada that their prices might be listed in Canadian dollars, which are not of the same value as U.S. dollars.

The rate exchange might make the prices 25%-30% lower in U.S. currency.

I worked in a shop where this was standard practice. Clean paint off with rag soaked in brakefluid then right away clean the brakefluid / paint sludge off with a non toxic degreaser (like awesome) on a rag before the brake fluid softens the plastic. But the plastics on a bike may be dot3 resistant.
