Looking for JL250P in PA/OH/WV area
I'd like to get a JL250P but even though most places on the net offer free shipping, I'd like to see it and bring it home from the warehouse myself. I live in W. PA and most of the scooter warehouses are in CA or down south, so if anyone knows of a dealer stocking this bike near me I'd appreciate hearing about it. I'm new here btw.
Thanks, Craig |

Welcome; we are glad you joined us. I'm sorry, but I don't know of any dealers in Pennsylvania.

Welcome!
Maybe you can find similar used examples on CL, and that would at least allow you the chance to take a look before buying from CA (or wherever).

Found a dealer in Cleveland which isn't too far from a work location. I changed my mind and plan on looking at a D250RTC which I think is an even better looking machine. He doesn't have any in stock now which is fine by me (unless the price goes up which I'm sure it will!).
It would be nice to be able to search and find dealers for the Chinese bikes and scooters - I know they're out there but the big ones in CA clog up search results. Maybe we could have forum members compile a list using contributed info. Thanks again. |

It is a nice bike indeed.
Pay attention though. I had a mildly bad experiance with a Kinroad 250 that looked very similar. :? It's electrical system was a lot of trouble, the kickstand dragged in turns, it's top speed was about 65-70, and the vibration pretty bad despite the counterbalancer. The plastic was very poor. It ran well though, although sometimes electrical problems would keep it from starting. That bike was an '07 or so. I'm sure they have improved since then.
