Hawk Bogging Down

Guys, I need your expertise on these motorcycles. On the Hawk, it idles fine, has plenty of gas, but when I go to apply throttle to accelerate it just bogs down. It just started doing this a couple days ago. The bike ran fine the first ~100 km and is just now doing this. I checked the carb and jets (Mikuni with 115/30) and everything is free and clear. I tested a different spark plug and saw no difference.
Thoughts/next thing to check?

remove all the jets and blow the holes out with compressed air. my problem was in the pilot jet. see if that works for you.

I agree. Take the time to remove both the slow jet and main jet, and blow through them with carb cleaner and compressed air. At the risk of sounding like your Dad, please wear eye protection when using carb cleaner.

And also make sure none of those "cleaners" touch the Gasket(s) on the carburetor... I've already replaced one that swollen up to almost 2x it's original size... and one that wanted to dry and crack in to a thousand pieces... all because the gasket barely came into (brief) contact with a 'cleaner' ... costs for a new gasket was about $4 a piece (before shipping charges)

That's a nice feature with the 30mm Mikuni; the bowl gasket is an o-ring, and so far they have been resistant to carb cleaner for me.

Check your air filter for oil build up.
