linhai 250cc tranny

I have a 2002 big rex atv that has a auto tranny and it will not shift, I think it is in first gear? this atv has the side shifter for reverse netural and drive. any help? thanks.

Don't these have a belt drive? If it does it won't "shift" through the gears, the primary and secondary clutches adjust to change the gear ratio based on load and RPM.
