Templar turn signal flasher problem fix.

I had an interesting problem with the turn signals on my Templar X. They would flash but noticed the indicator in the speedometer was so dim you could not see it in the daylight. To make a long story shorter and after a bunch of troubleshooting... Bottom line is the flasher was the cause. I replaced it with a new one from Amazon and it now is very bright and noticed the actual indicators are brighter as well. The factory flasher must have some kind of load resistor built in to accomodate the LED lights?
On another note: I quized up the folks at Xpro (Powersportsmax) they were not much help technically but did send me a replacement flasher at no charge. It came in an Xpro package and was different than what came with the bike. I plugged it in to see if it worked and it worked just fine. Put in my spare parts bin just in case I have a failure down the road.
