Need some options for a mid winter getaway!

Home base is N.E. Iowa. Hmmm. Where to go? Obviously south. Open to suggestion. I've spent the last 20 years loading up snowmobiles and heading north or west in the winter months. Thinking about a more moderate climate for some fun this winter. Likely will be 2 to 4 including the wife if I can talk her into going along. Looking for some predominantly off pavement trail, forrest service road type riding with a place to park a small motorhome. Prefer to have a few days worth of riding from each motorhome stop. Early in my planning stages right now. Sure would be nice to hear a few suggestions! I'll be dragging along the Lifan Enduro and at least one TW if not two. No high speed stuff required! Just some good exploring with some light weight challenges. Probably after X-Mas time. Thanks guys.

Mojave, California. Look up an area called Jawbone.

There are many bike and atv friendly trails in Oregon, and the Oregon coast is beautiful at this time of year. The State requires you to have off-road permits, but that's minor.

The Oregon Coast in the winter runs a high chance of rain. Could be anything from a cold drizzle to a squall but it's pretty wet.

Jawbone is all but guaranteed sunny in the 70's and 80's even in January.

Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina. Lots of forest service roads and places to park RVs. Weather can be mild enough. North Florida has areas too.

Jawbone=EPIC journey! 1907 miles or 30 hours! It could be done. Long ways however. Oregon sounds great but I'd guess the weather might not be to much fun in late December/early Jan. I'll keep those areas in mind. I am guessing 18 to 20 hours would get me to warm weather in Texas or therabouts. Not as scenic but still warm compared to home. Thanks for the ideas guys. Keep them comming.

I just gave you the best not the most practical

I'd be thinking Texas somewhere. Florida is warm but oh so flat and I think more for road bikes.

All ideas and comments are appreciated guys. Actually I can't wait to ride the northern Bighorns in Wyoming next summer. After riding sleds out there so many times it seems to be a great spot to go also.
