Rhino 250 no spark

I bought a used Rhino about a month ago and rode it for a few days, totaling about 15 miles. I put it away and when I went to start it the other day it wouldn't fire. It appears there is no spark so I tested the kill switch, brake switch, stator output (50V AC) and the crank position sensor. This may be where my problem is as I'm only reading between 0.07Vac and 0.1Vac and a little googling suggests a minimum of 0.3Vac to around 0.5Vac.
Can any one confirm this and where can I get a replacement? I cant find one at WGS or the Tao Tao official parts place.

Alternative remedy are NOT shop manual says...
Build a peak voltage adapter for proper reading as possible ...
The reading should be similar to

Anyway most of time low reading from "pickup" can be cured by making the gap smaller (Don't forget add some blue Loctite)...

i just had this issue, after replacing the CDI and Coil, still no luck... i thought about it, it didnt quit running, it just wouldnt start back up... so what was the last thing i did? toggled the kill switch.. so i took the housing apart (shut off, headlights, choke etc) and dug down to the kill switch and i was right, the plastic piece that should have returned to center position when the switch returned in order to complete the circuit, didnt. so i bypassed it. now i just use the ignition key to turn the 4wheeler on and off.. also helps with remembering to turn the key off and remove it if needed.

I see I never updated this. I did eventually find the problem which was a broken wire at the connector for the ignition switch to loom.
Now I have a new problem. The quad will not shut off with either the ignition switch or the kill switch. I have to pull the signal wire off the coil to get it to stop. I've heard this is a ground wire problem but I've checked the entire machine and all grounds are good and connect correctly with operation of the ignition switch or kill switch. My only thing left would be an internal fault with the CDI but that seems unlikely as a ground fault with that would mean it wouldnt start.
Has anyone seen this phenomenon before?

Not that but I'm going through the "no spark" issue at the moment. My ignition switch was malfunctioning. I had to wiggle it to get a neutral light. I took it apart, cleaned and messed with it. I get a neutral light now but no spark.

Did you replace the entire ignition switch on yours or just repair the broken wire? Still sounds like the switch is still not doing what it's supposed to.

Repaired the broken wire at the connector. The switch functions perfectly. I can see it work with a multimeter.

Check your push button starter/kill switch... mine was bad at the start of the season. Took it apart and put a wire brush to it... coat of WD40 and its been good so far.

Did this exact thing and sha-zam! It ran!
I think I might wire it together and be done with it. Another project for another day.
