Bought a KLR 650 with lots of goodies included!!!!

Guys i found a deal way to good to pass up. I got a 2008 Kawasaki KLR with 2600 miles from a guy who has alot of bikes for $3700. It has touring pegs on it with a After market Corbin Seat also i got the factory seat and a aftermarket windshield along with the factory one. I also got Rapid Transit handle bar bags along with a trunk for the back of the bike. I also got a Hitch Carrier along with the ramp. A Center stand and aftermarket lights. Runs amazing and rides so smooth...Also he included a 16 tooth sproket and more. Im just really happy and will have some pics up for you all to see. He aslo custom painted it. Thank you all for the advice. What a great investment.

Congrats! You can't go wrong with a KLR, they can do pretty much anything you ask of them Their only caveat is that you should keep a close eye on the oil level on the gen 2's, if your running them hard on the highway (5000 rpm plus) they will sip some oil. Mine uses a bit if I run it over 5000 and almost none if I keep it under 5K. I check my oil every day since it's so easy to do with the sight glass. I guess some use a little and others don't, but it's best to keep an eye on it anyway.

Sounds like a great buy with all the extras. The klr650 is good for about 50mpg too. More depending on your riding style.

I babysat an 02 model for a few months. It was a big bike in my opinion. At 5'10" I thought it was too short for it. This was a stock height and with a stock seat. Made me uncomfortable to ride it off road.

With a full tank of gas it felt top heavy.

Nope, that didn't work . There was a link to posting pics, but I can't find it right now... Maybe W&G or Spud will post it up. I use Photobucket to host my pics, then copy the img url and paste it into the message I am posting. If it's a huge pic, I try to remember to resize it first so it doesn't mess up the page formatting... Sometimes I forget though, and mess up the formatting anyway . Had mine up to 160kmh on Friday night, she was flying! Not a speed I would want to run regularly though, she was huffing! Plus, I had to add 250ml of oil afterwards.
