electric choke on gy6 engine

Can someone explain to me how this works? I understand that it allows more fuel as the engine warms up, and that with no power applied the needle is fully open, but what controls the needle? Is it a temp sensor? Timer? Does the needle just start to slowly move as soon as power is applied? Are they adjustable at all? I tried to find this info but all i get is "it allows more fuel until the engine warms up". can I make the needle move slower/ take longer to lean out by adding an inline resistor? has anyone replaced this with a manual cable choke?

I don't understand how the electric choke works, but there is a rubber diaphragm on the top, that uses vacuum.

"and the big partner said why?"

"Your own car, often used as a white mouse."

"It is designed to be used in series, even if one of them is not afraid, usually As long as there is a chance to open the "toilet", you can use the universal meter to check if there is a bond. You can use it with confidence. "

"I would like to ask the strange man, the electronic damper does not have to be related? Does it cost oil? Thank you in advance."

Thanks! It all makes sense now

Thanks, that was a very informative video, it did a much better job than google trying to translate the page. From what I gather it acts as an electromechanical timer that gradually closes the extra fuel port as an element heats a wax plug. That makes me think i might be able to add resistors in series and slow the heating of the internal element.

Douglass- I don't have a diaphragm on mine, we might have slightly different models or they may have recently changed, the owners manual I got with mind described a cable choke operated by a lever on the left handlebar, when I couldn't find the lever I figured I could locate the cable on the carb and follow it back but all a saw was a black cylinder with a wire harness coming out of it.

I have the electric choke two, the rubber diphram is internal under the top cap. My throttle cable connects externally on the right side, and it seems that the carburetor uses vacuum to open and close the throttle.

Also, I'll try to get some pictures up with the air filter. I just got to busy this weekend to mess with the ATVs.

Also check this out. Not sure if you saw this, but is has info on the rear shock and fog light set up I used.
