El Dakar de las Motokar

I saw this story on television last night, this is motokar cross, completely different from the Lima mototaxi racing that I've posted before. This event takes place in the jungle town of Tarapoto few hundred miles northeast of Lima. Hang on to your socks, this is a great video!

Hilarious! What an alarming lack of equipment on some of those guys. Son of Weldangrind watched it with me and couldn't stop laughing.

The host was my favourite part.

I would hate to be the passenger in the mototaxi! Did you see those passengers hanging off the side of the bike during the turns! 8O
