No spark 110cc eagle meter results-need help
I have an Eagle 110 cc 4 stroke with a typical 5 pin cdi it ran great but we had to store it for a year outside while renting a house. Got our new place and pulled it out to get it going, put a new battery in and it won't crank. I think that is the starter switch as I remember having issues with that before we stored it so I ordered a new assembly. What's weird is I can't get it to crank with the remote start but can by jumping the contacts. Does that sound like the switch? The next problem is when I jump it to crank it has no spark so here are the readings I got from the tests I found here. I did pull the kill switch pin and also meter tested so I'm sure it's not a kill switch. I'm new to meter testing things and my meter doesn't have the exact settings sorry if I'm reading stuff wrong!
Harness going to the wheeler 1 ac ignition to ground pin 2k scale .360 2 timing trigger to ground 2k scale .139 3 ac ignition to ground while cranking 200 volt scale 43.5 4 timing trigger pin while cranking .312 Cdi 1 ignition coil pin to ground 0 ohms- it starts at .05 when I first make contact with the pins but slowly counts down as I leave it on 2 with cdi plugged in and cranking ignition coil pin to ground Meter reads constant .05 (doesn't jump around like it says it should) Any help would be great! Hopping it's just the cdi, I have a new one on the way but if these readings indicate something else I'd like to get the parts ordered ASAP Thanks |
