Angry It was an even 50 degrees here!

50 Celcius that is--122 for you (me) metric handicapped people; got off work early due to extreme heat ( when it was 'only' 110 F) and rode the TMEC home, no problem!

a friend of mine was in quartzite AZ yesterday on a cross country bike tour, they canceled the riding til tuesday, and they trucked everyone up to payson for the weekend...

Quartzsite is about 80 miles north of me up the Colorado River (ok, Quartzsite is not on the river, but Yuma is). Yes, they were very smart to postpone the trip! In fact, most of the way west of there, assuming they are ending up in L.A. will be hot!

they actually started in LA, and are heading for staten island NY, i am joining them in iowa, and riding thru michigan with them, i cant get the time off to make the full ride,nor would my recent health struggles allow me to...LOL
