Morning Commute To work on Venom X22R 250

The weather has been perfect here this week so for the third day in a row I've taken my Venom X22R 250 to work. This is the reason i got the bike for. I love my Hawk but this bike is so much more street friendly at higher speeds. Though it doesn't look like it in the video, the LED lights are really bright and light up the road well. I had to cut a small portion of video out due to my rant on some idiot pulled out on me. I know they had to see me as i had my bright lights on. I had a few choice words for them that would be allowed on here or YouTube. lol I really like the bike as it;s performing better than i thought it would for a 223cc engine. A little head work will only make it better. So sit back and enjoy my boring ride to work. I was riding so not boring to me.

Yeah, you were definitely up before the chickens! Funny thing, you can tell the difference between military and civilians. In the military, we call it zero dark thirty!

The commute back home. Too bad i had to work this week. Perfect weather all week. I'm enjoying the hell out of riding this bike to work.

By the time i get home i'm so relaxed. What great therapy. Just what the doctor ordered.

Sure did. It might look strange seeing an old geezer on it but who gives a hoot as long as i'm enjoying it.

I never found it that weird seeing an older guy on a sporty looking bike. the stereotype seems to be a big Harley bagger, but one of my regular riding buddies is a guy maybe a couple years younger than you on a Kawasaki Concours 14. I don't fit many bike stereotypes either. Most people peg me as a cruiser rider too because I am a big guy. Big guys don't ride small bikes or sporty bikes in their minds.

I can tell you really do enjoy having a road bike again.

Well I feel kinda bad because Jerry swore me to secrecy, but here's his latest acquisition. He says it does a scorching 9.5 mph and will do the quarter mile in less than 5 minutes. And it will carry up to 30lbs of Geritol, Viagra, and all his other pharmacy meds, including a gallon of milk!

I ordered a set of load resisters to resolve the LED flickering. It get's a little annoying when sitting at the light. OCD kicking in. lol https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-H4-900...72.m2749.l2649

I would have liked to see more dust and rocks flying when you left work to head home, but otherwise, good for you!!!
