Just spoke to GPX
Just spoke to GPX sales and the FSE250s is being reworked and will be more inline with the fse250e, will be out next spring with a nice price increase, and they are out of fse250e until Oct Nov, the 250s looks like a nice bike, so now I am torn between the 250s a the Orion 250xl.

The GPX is NICE. Not so cheap though. As long as you are thinking along those lines, LLC motorsports (Liberty) has 2022 SSR SR250S in stock. Liquid cooled 25hp 5speef. They are listing at 3999 but they have a get quote button. If you tell them GPX and Orion are their competitors, they will drop the price a little. Thing is, in stock now. Oh, and the 300SR is also in stock. Listing same price because 2021 and used. It's 30hp, 6speed.

Also, Powersports Outlet (AZ) has a new 2022 FSE 250 listing at $3700
Air cooled but 6speed. I think I see a carb in there. Jetting is no issue though. In fact, unlike EFI, where you are dependent on tune files (if you can get them), carb jetting gives you full control of air/fuel mix across throttle range. EFI has it's value... Auto adjusts for altitude and temp. |
