That actually looks like the ATV windsheild that I considered putting on mine at one time.

I had one like that on a VT-700 and didn't like it. It was like a big sail and would beat you to death in a cross wind. But it was kinda neet being able to hear the radio... :P

For weather protection while commuting it would work great. If you go to your local motorcycle shop and ask to look at their Tucker/Rocky catalog you'll see many different styles. Most can be removed quickly with a couple wing nuts.
