Honda clone engine

Does the rps hawk have a Honda clone engine the fires on every stroke? The reason I say that is it just sounds weird compared to a Yamaha, Suzuki, or a Kawasaki. What can I do to make it sound better. Would it sound better or worse with an after market exhaust.

The spark plug fires every stroke but power is produced every other stroke. Same as most modern 4 stroke motorcycle engines including most Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, etc.. A louder muffler may sound better depending on your preference.
