CG 250 Rekluse Cluth Auto Clutch?

Okay, so a rekluse clutch is over priced and can cost half as much as our bikes, have anyone tried to install one?

Since the trails I ride are pretty nasty, an auto clutch can really come in handy.

Anyone know if the CG250 engine clutch is compatible with anything? If the rekcluse clutch ring drops in, it might just work

both my bikes have rekluse clutchs in them... even though rekluse
dosn't make clutchs for them...
XT660 I had to widen the spaces between the basket fingers .3mm
But the TTR250 was a drop in fit after I made a whole new clutch basket
from 7075 alloy...
I used YZF/WR 250 & 450 EXP 2 units both with the heavy wedge kits..

It canbe done... dose help if you have and can use a lathe and Mill...

but I'm lucky as I have all the gear either at home or work and i'm
a tool/die maker by trade...

find out if a honda friction plate from a bike that rekluse make a EXP unit for will
fit in the hawk clutch basket...or is that close that it can be moded easy...

always set / adjust the unit on a hot motor... cold thicker oil gives a false setting
when the oil heats up the unit slips to much..

build adjustable clutch arm stops... useing the cable as rekluse state is a joke...
get finer setting and they are constant...
