299CC Hawk????

Label on the engine says 299cc. MFG by Chongqing Haosen Motorcycle Co. LTD. Engine Family FRKYX.299HF2.

Seeing the CC's listed at 299 made me wonder if it's a typo but the engine family ALSO says 299CC. Any ideas???

My guess is the '299cc' is a misprint, but also of interest is "...Off road motorcycle..." What does/did the MCO state? Off-road or on road? States like Arizona and several others would street plate them based on the street equipment, but I wonder if other states would not issue plates if the MCO states "off-road" on it? Here in AZ, one has to physically bring a mail-order bike to the MVD office for an inspection (and again, "off-road" on the MCO would not be a deal breaker), but what about the gray area states? I wonder if your mfg plate has two misprints?

The standard 250 HAWK is the only thing listed on the website.

I can't see it being that big and still air cooled. I believe that the largest liquid cooled CG that is available is 270cc, but I'm not certain.
