Jet kit help
Looking for a quality jet kit for this carb. I've used search and get mixed info. I would also like info on removing the egr valve and sourcing a block off plate. I live at sea level so what size jet works, going to open up the airbox too.

Inside my pz30
105 main
34 pilot no adjustment on needle I had to dremel slots in the tamper proof screws but they came right out and replaced them with new m4 allen head bolts. Installed 2 3mm washers under c-clip to raise the needle up a bit. I also took the fuel mix screw out a 1/2 turn. Plan to order the jet kit from NZ off ebay because it looks like many tuning options. The question I have is about the 34 pilot, it seems this carb has been seen with a 40 stock from china. NZ.... can I get a 38 and a 40 pilot as add ons? |

38 I don’t have but would need to order in extra but going by other info it seems 40 is a good starting point however this hasn’t yet been tested with this jet type (Hawk/Shen Wey is a 40 and the style "A" common Keihin guys run 40-45 on 200-230cc bikes) It would seem my set is fine for your carb type unless it needs a smaller pilot size then others. Oh I also HAVE the EGR/Air injection block off plate that you can bolt to the side of the head! Last edited by NzBrakelathes; 05-27-2019 at 08:32 PM. |
