well we left home at 10am on monday and headed out into the bush.

nice little forestry campsite. all of the sites on the north side of the lake are park and walk you gear in but the site host understood my bad legs problem and let us set up camp on either side of the boat launch.

my view of the lake from the hammock

thursdays diner....bbq chicken and rice

relaxing by the fire

ground was too hard to set up the tiki torches so we just used the cans instead

tuesday morn we went out exploring and looking for marked S.W.A.T.T. (a group out here that create and maintain trails) and found a couple and had fun following them but we forgot the camera :(

tuesday afternoon we took the ride to 20 mile bay (about half way up west side of harrison lake)....a bit of a ride keeping an eye open for logging trucks.

even found some butterflies

one of the best views of Harrison Lake on our trip

tuesday nights diner

corn and mushrooms

potatoes in butter and garlic and steaks that were marinating all day

redneck.....wear it with pride

kellys frog that we watched swim into the boat launch in the dark and make a break for the bushes....he didn't make it too far (don't worry we let him go)

he was a fat one

wednesday night at the lake.

we did do some fishing but I think it was too hot and they were way out in the middle and deep .......oh well a bad day of fishing is way better than a good day at work.

thursday we went to have a relaxing ride back down to grace lake (km 0) and back but her atv started to need jump starts (thinking battery needs replacing 3 yrs old and will not charge over 11.6v)
and it is having problems shifting from forward to reverse (cable might be stretched)
and stuttering at first 1/4 throttle (goes like hell after that) so going to swap out her carb for a new one we have.
so we headed back to camp before anything else went wrong.

thursday when getting hers ready to load i noticed that her left front tire was on a bit of an angle and had allot of play side to side....pulled the dust cap off and a bunch of bearing parts and the outer seal fell on the ground ...eeeep!

so this weekend her 150 gets a new carb, shifter cable and new bearings up front.
another things we noticed is her front sprocket is worn to shiet so gona need a new one of those too

Bad legs problem? Is that new?

Terrific spot! Are Harrison frogs good on the grill?

If it helps you, I now have an electronic battery load tester. Feel free to bring a suspect battery over, and I can tell you if it's good.

I second Spuds' comment on the view from the hammock.
