New from Lockport NY

Hello everyone. I'm just a guy from Western NY (Not NYC), who runs a small business out of his home fixing things, Equipment n such.. I have recently been working on a few of my customers Chinese Dirtbike/motorcycles. So I am here to ask questions, and dig for as much info as I can find. I think, bang for the buck, these little fella's are great. I wish they were around when I was a kid..
So I won't be here to focus on my business as much as learn for my customers. Of course there is a possibility that I might become a dealer in the future.

Welp, I'm looking forward to tapping into this wealth of knowledge here on Chinariders.net. I'll see you all in the boards.

Nate Hopkins

Welcome Nate.

We have a pretty good collective knowledge of Chinese bikes.

Thank you, My company use to be called Headstrong Performance until the birth of my latest Daughter. I ended up changing the name to M.O.R.R. for Makenna, Olivia, Ryleigh, and Reagan..

BTW thank you for your service. My brother just finished up his 2nd tour of Afghanistan. He is finishing up his last few months freezing his nuts off in Fairbanks Alaska..

Welcome to here! If you plan on dealing in these things, I would suggest the company SSR Motorsports. Their OEMs for all their bikes they 'brand' are top quality as far as Chinese bikes go. For instance, the OEM for their scooter lineup is Znen; their popular 150 scooter that looks like a Ruckus is getting great reviews on the web. Their 'retro street minis' which are 125cc versions of a CT70
replica and 125cc version of a Z50 replica are OEMd by Skyteam, which are top notch in that area. Their 200 and 250 enduros are OEMd by Qingqi, which are a top quality Chinese manufacturer. Their pit bikes seem top notch based on the numerous, randomly uploaded, youtube videos by enthusiastic owners. Older videos of other brands' Chinese bikes (circa 2005, 2006) used to rip on them due to the low quality. Today's videos specifically of SSR pit bikes show them doing all kinds of things, without breaking. I don't know the OEM of the pit bikes, but they seem top quality.

Another distribution company, Excalibur Motorsports www.atv4usa.com has some decent products, too. They are the exclusive distributor for the TMEC 200 enduro, which I use as my daily commuter (30 miles roundtrip daily), and they are at a lower price point than the SSR (you could position those as more premium bikes, because the are). They have some side by sides and scooters. They aren't as one shop as SSR, but they have been selling products for several years now, and on one trip home from L.A.to Yuma, I got to stop by and sit with the owner, Wade Liu. They might be worth considering, too.
