The real american lifans cost alittle more and a dealer has overhead to pay for. Even then $2000 for a used china bike is too much, but I sure that is a sticker price.

Mine had a sticker of $1800, but I didn't pay near that.

There are Lifans and then there are American Lifans. The American Lifan is usually of better quality and the whole bike is built at the Lifan factory.

Alot of the bikes that are marked lifan are actually clones of the lifan bike.

If yours has the lifan logo on all the engine bolts than it is probably true American Lifan.

But since yours was drop shipped it has a good chance that it is not.

Nothing wrong with your bike. It just may be harder to get parts or not as high of quality.

From what I have read..All Ebay bikes are Gray market bikes and Not AM Lifan. Some of the dealers on here could probably clear it up better though.

I don't think American Lifan allows eaby sales. Yours is most likely a gray market, but it might be one of the better ones.

Motorxtremes I am pretty sure sells the gray market bikes.

AZ200cc is correct, American Lifan does not allow eBay sales at all any more. There was a Dealer in Colorado they where doing a test with for eBay sales but the dealer went out of business. If there are any bikes on eBay they are used, and they may or may not be a true American Lifan. Any other seller on eBay is not selling an American Lifan. They are branded Lifan but they are NOT American Lifan bikes.
I'm not ripping on anyone just letting you all know.

Having a Lifan engine dosen't make it an American Lifan either. I have seen a couple of different brands with Lifan engines, Broncho and a bike that was badged as a Lifan but was totally different than mine . If you research Lifan they produce about 3 times as many motorcycle engines as they produce motorcycles.

I heard that lifan motors are based off honda motors. Well theirs a 200x quad motor. Would its big bore kit fit in the lifan motor?

I haven't found a honda motor that looks like mine. The bottom end looks like an older xr, but the top end looks like a cm honda.
