Home built brake light mount GY200 haha

Check it out guys. The sorry light holder that came with the bike was showing cracks and the screws were pulling through so I took it off.

I got some 1/8" thick aluminum from work and cut it to match a cardboard template that I made.

Because I didn't have a metal brake I had to bend it over a piece of 1/4" thick flat bar. You can see where the bends were to be made. I had to make 2 of these. The other for my Dad's bike. I wanted to make sure that this one fit right before i made the second one. I got lucky because it did. After I made the bends it had a few hammer marks so I polished it up with the 9" angle grinder. Didn't have a soft pad. Oh well !

Now the bike has a lot less vibration noise and the lights don't bounce past my knees every time I hit a bump or a jump. Made the whole bike feel different somehow. All I need to do now is squirt some paint on it and go.

Happy Thanksgiving yall!
