Hi from the Rockies
Well hello everyone, hope all is well with you and yours
![]() far Northern CO to far Southern Wyoming, and also the Nebraska area checking in (think almost touching the boarders) ![]() Currently have an older Japanese dual sport I bought used (KLR650) but have been wanting to get some "brand new" Chinese bikes for ages too, can't seem to find a good place to buy the one's I'm looking at, but I'm sure I will eventually. So why can't I find those cheap Zongshen 200 Dual Sports everyone seems to have, everyone "got them for like" 1,300 shipped but I can't find them for under 2,400 + shipping ![]() ![]() I can find "HAWK" and "DF" 250 bikes for about 1,400 shipped but not that elusive Zong. Either way, the Mrs. gave the "ok" to get a new bike and I'm either going all out and getting a nice New Suzuki (DR-Z400SM or a GSX-S750), a Yamaha (FZ-09 or a WR250R), or I could get 6 Chinese bikes like DF or Hawk for the price of 1 of those big names listed above (all of the Jap bikes are about $6 at the end of the year, plus any "Stealership" bend-u-over Fees), or get 2 "SSR or CSC" type branded "premium Chinese" bikes. Good news is I have until next December to make up my mind and find the best deals on the bikes I want... Thanks for everyone joining this forum and posting up any and all info they have, really does help us new folks ![]() I guess I better go before I end up typing a huge wall of text for my first post ![]()

Welcome!
Most China bikes will not be close to what you've come to expect with Japanese bikes; China bikes require a sense of humour. That said, I think anything from CSC will be a win for you.

I own a Zongshen ZS200GY-2 (Sierra), but it is no longer manufactured. In that sense, you are arriving a little too late.

Thanks stopping by Weld.
I've owned a few Chrysler/Jeep vehicles in my day, so I can have a decent sense of humor when it comes to being left randomly stranded on the road ![]() But seriously, where does one find those nice 200/250's I've been dreaming of, for a nice price that is ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted at the same time almost, Edit to say "Hey Spud" ![]()
