I thought there was a ban on minibikes. Too many kids dying on the street. Don't know if the CT70 is considered a minibike.

I am not sure about that. The CT70 could be called a minibike, but I wonder if they are referring to dirt only type models.

I found some info about banning the "pocket bikes" in some Texas cities, but not anything like a CT70 that was intended for street use.

Dragon, a few of the distributors/brands advertise 50 state DOT/EPA legality, such as Pitster Pro's retro lineup.
