Chinese 230 (65.5x62.2) is based on the MD33 (domestic version in Japan) | CRF230 (ME09). There's little difference btw them. For example: Piston compression distance is ~0.2mm difference.
ZS http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=12980694190 is using the std CB stator (10+ Amp output)
Many "hardcore" chinese" fitted kickstart in the 5 speed machine. :P

thanks humanbeing, i also have kickstart, but without decompression it can become hard work :-) i used this bike for 10 years with kickstart only and i thought electric starters are for girls. but with the 230 without decompression i don t like it

do you know the spark plug for the zong 230?

for the crf 230 the manual says a sparkplug with a longer tip (not a longer plug, just a longer tip), NGK DPR8EA-9, not just the DR8EA.

can the Zong 230 only use the DR8EA, or is the DPR plug better?

DR8EA works BUT they're NOT the recommend type in Honda.
"...-9" is SAME price as "DR..." , worth to try them in "plug chop" test.
