Here is the connector pin information for the Delphi MT05 ECM.



Neither connector appears to fit the OBD2 scanner connector, which is shown below.

The Delphi MT05 uses a 6-pin connector for diagnostics, as shown in the photograph below.



Therefore, it seems we will need to make an adapter to connect the appropriate pins of the OBD2 connector to the 6-pin Delphi connector. Likewise, we could also make an adapter to connect the OBD2 connector to one of the 18-pin connectors on the MT05 ECM itself.

The Delphi fuel injectors have a heated tip to aid starting a cold engine with ethanol fuel.

J1 and J2 are the connectors at the ECM, and are not designed for scanner interface, much like in your car. What we need to find is either the male version of the Delphi 6-pin, or just buy a male OBD2 connector and ditch the Delphi connector.

What we need to know is the pinout of the Delphi 6-pin.

I agree that a heated injector would help with cold-starting (as you say), but I do not agree that ethanol will not ignite in liquid form (as the video implies).

Non-heated auto injector systems and even E85-specific carbs will still run without added heat.

The real benefit is easy, consistent starting in any temperature, and no need for an enrichment circuit or conventional choke.

Perhaps somebody already manufactures a Dephi 6-pin to OBDII adapter.
