Purchase a Tusk Impact Rear Rim and Spoke Kit, and you can lace up a beautiful, 18-inch rear wheel for about $213 in parts.

Then you can install a Primary Drive, rear sprocket for $20. These sprockets are available in sizes 48T-53T, which is perfect.

That hub is really sharp, and it's orange! It would look terrific with the black rim.

I agree. I hope the Chinese are manufacturing either a KTM, or a Honda rear hub for the Zongshen RX3.

I'm with you that our Chinese friends prefer to copy, but I still haven't figured out what Lifanda's front hub is patterned after. The Roketa is definitely Honda.

I think the standard, Chinese front wheel is probably a Chinese design. However, that is only a guess on my part.

Here's some good news. Apparently the original, Russian Minsk had a 15-inch rear wheel. The following link states the stock sprocket combination was 14T/44T.

http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...%3Bstart%3D540

If the stock C/S sprocket is 14T, it bodes well for a larger rear wheel which employs the upgraded cush hub.

The CSC Cyclone RX3 bikes arrived in the United States with a 17-inch rear wheel, and the cush hub. If one wishes to convert to an 18-inch rear wheel, the information in this thread is still valid. However, if you are content with the 17-inch rear wheel, you can relegate this thread to the status of nostalgia.

Im currently looking for a good deal on RX3. Among my intentions is the consideration of converting onto 19"-17" (front-rear) wheel size.
Is there something in the market that accommodates tubeless tyres?

No, I don't know of any product available which will accommodate tubeless tires for 17-inch and 19-inch wheels.

I'd check out Alpina as well, My Stelvio has a set of the Alpina STS and runs tubeless 17"/19" spoked wheels.

BMW/KTM and MG use these on the adventure bikes, although the premade wheels probably cost as much as the RX3.

They sell kits to convert any spoked wheel to tubeless.

Thanks for posting the good information, gentlemen. I had not heard of either Aprilia Caponord rims, or Alpina STS spokes.

Hehe

Indeed, the cost of the set (front/rear) nearly matches the purchase of the RX3
that indicates how good deal the bike is))
Too bad there arent options for wheels (such as, for example, the 19"/17" that my Suzuki DL650cc Vstrom is equipped with)..
Link to my Vstrom pics:
http://www.car.gr/classifieds/bikes/view/6747710/
As I am aware of, such wheels can get with dual sport tyres too..
(of course, can not use this particular type on RX3)
